Meet Thomas Bencivengo, owner of Vengo Films. Thomas started his career as a dedicated filmmaker Upon his accepted into Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in 2010, Thomas's talent flourished and thrived. He was quickly accepted into the honorable Tribeca Film Institute. That is where he began to perfect his craft and later created his first film. His first documentary entitled “The Iron Triangle” was screened during the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, where it gained recognition and rave reviews among viewers. He made his second debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2013 with his film “Forever Young”. Thomas then went on to study film at and received his B.F.A at LIU Post, in Old Brookville, Long Island New York,
In 2015 Thomas started his production company Vengo Films. He has had the pleasure of working with a variety of people, industries, and organizations. Some organizations including Ultra Music, GAT Supplements traveling around the nation working alongside athletes such as Sadik Hadzovic and UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Vengo Films also works alongside well-known Music Producer / DJ Sam Feldt and his team. Vengo Films Also has covered music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and Ultra.
Today Thomas & Vengo Films have now focused on providing their clients with high-quality cinematic Wedding cinematography, delivering timeless films to clients of their most memorable day.
I cannot recommend Tommy enough. Vengo Films was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding day. He is so quick with responding and answered any questions we had throughout the whole process. Even going through a hard time in his life and dealing with a personal battle with cancer I am blown away by his dedication, professionalism, and overall joyful energy and demeanor. He has the best larger-than-life personality and it truly had a positive effect on our wedding day. My husband and I got married a month ago and it was the best day of our lives-- I firmly believe that Tommy and our photographer had a major part in that outcome. TOMMY!! Vincent and I are truly so grateful that you were a part of our wedding day. We always knew from the start, that our cinema and photos would be a huge role in how we remember our special day, and I cannot thank you enough for giving us this amazing opportunity to look back and share every special moment and detail with our future children and future generations. What you do is amazing and seriously a work of art. I will never forget the first time we spoke, you corrected me and said "I am not a videographer, I am a cinematographer" and now I understand that statement. You are beyond talented. You have such a special heart and creative mind and my only wish is that every bride and groom get to experience what you have given us. God bless you always!

Truly an amazing experience with Tommy & his team at Vengo Films! I knew from when I saw his work on Instagram I just had to speak with him. Once you speak with Tommy, that really just seals the deal. He’s so professional and yet still speaks to you as if he’s known you for years. He made me feel so comfortable with the whole process and his level of experience that I felt no need to look any further. On the day of my wedding, Tommy showed up energetic, positive, and ready to go. He was also so supportive throughout the day making sure I was comfortable and happy. He even offered his jacket to me while we were filming outside (it was bone-chilling cold!!) which I thought was just SO sweet. He vibed so well with our whole bridal party. He truly cares about his clients and the experience he provides. My husband & honestly my whole bridal party couldn’t stop talking about how awesome Tommy & his team were. We received our teaser so far and wow! It’s literally a movie teaser. There’s so much love in just that one minute. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you so much, Tommy!

Tommy is truly the best in the business. If you're thinking about hiring him and his team....do it! Hiring Vengo Films as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only is Tommy crazy talented at his craft, but he is also an incredible human! He and his team brought such amazing energy to our wedding that we will remember always. Within 6 days of our wedding, we received our one-minute edit, who has heard of that turnaround time?!? Not only did we get it so quickly, but the video itself is breathtaking. We are truly so beyond grateful!!!! I wish Tommy could follow me around and video the rest of my life.

Tommy and his team were absolutely incredible from before the wedding to day of and beyond. When I first spoke to Tommy I immediately felt confident that he was going to communicate well and give us the best experience. Tommy was always quick at responding to any questions we had and would take his very valuable time to explain anything, and did it excitedly. You could absolutely tell that Tommy is passionate about what he does. I loved how excited he would get when he knew it was going to be a beautiful shot. He is one of the biggest reasons I was so calm and confident on my wedding day. He showed up early and from the start had cool and collected energy. Throughout the day he would make sure to ask me if I’m okay, and as expected his communication was incredible. I almost can’t believe how quickly he captured every moment. Rob & I actually had fun while the videos were being shot, it was always smooth and Tommy had us laughing the whole time. The videos came out stunning. I’m a photographer so I really appreciate the cinematic and beautiful way that Tommy shoots. It’s definitely not your typical wedding video, his shooting style is unique and the attention to detail is spot on. After the videos were delivered Tommy went the extra mile and made sure we were definitely happy with everything, which we really appreciated. I would recommend Tommy and his team to anyone. They are professional, fun, swift, and excited about their work, and it really shows.
